Research & Development

Greetings, esteemed technophiles and intrepid cosmic voyagers! Welcome to an enlightening expedition into one of the universe's most intriguing enigmas: matter-antimatter asymmetry. Accompany me and a distinguished cadre of scientists on an exhilarating odyssey to unravel this cosmic conundrum.

Envision the cosmos as a vast stage set at the dawn of time, where matter and antimatter were poised to share equal billing. Antimatter, akin to matter's twin sibling but with contrasting attributes, should have proliferated alongside matter following the Big Bang. However, the plot thickens: our cosmic theater is overwhelmingly dominated by matter, while antimatter remains conspicuously scarce. This profound disparity is what we term matter-antimatter asymmetry.

As diligent scholars delving into this beguiling puzzle, we're on a mission to address a fundamental inquiry: why did matter emerge triumphant in the cosmic arena? This pursuit transcends mere curiosity; deciphering this enigma promises profound insights into the very essence of the universe and its genesis.

Equipped with cutting-edge technology and an unyielding quest for enlightenment, our team explores every facet of this cosmic mystery. Through rigorous experimentation, meticulous observation of cosmic phenomena, and rigorous theoretical inquiry, we endeavor to illuminate the victory of matter over antimatter. It's akin to assuming the mantle of cosmic detectives, meticulously piecing together fragments of evidence from the dawn of time to unlock a mystery eons in the making.

Our pursuit of knowledge transcends mere retrospection; it represents a quest to comprehend the fundamental forces shaping our cosmos. It's a journey brimming with the potential for groundbreaking discoveries about the universe and our place within it.

Therefore, as we press onward in our exhilarating quest to unravel the intricacies of matter and antimatter, we extend a cordial invitation for you to join us in marveling at the cosmic wonders that await. Who can say what revelations lie in store? Remain engaged, for the saga of matter-antimatter asymmetry unfolds before our very eyes, and we stand poised on the precipice, ready to inscribe its next chapter! Currently, I am stationed at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva, Switzerland, where my focus lies on rare radiative charm decays at the LHCb experiment. My primary objective is to make precise measurements of charm decays, alongside collaborative efforts in the development of the cutting-edge tracker device. My other areas of interest encompass experimental particle physics, CP violation, beyond Standard Model physics, silicon detectors, near-Earth asteroids, wireless power transfer, medical devices, and more.
